The Rescue
After decades of financial struggle resulting in the building falling into disrepair, in 2008 the Board made a commitment to restore the building. Thanks to financial donations, community memberships, and volunteer support, we have been able to make many critical repairs. But there is STILL work to do!
In 2012, we were pleased to make the building accessible to all with the installation of a handicap ramp.
In 2019 we finished the much-needed renovation of the kitchen. We still have many more projects to do.
In 2024, we will be making critical repairs to our roof, chimney, masonry, fence, and interior painting.
