An afternoon with Ellen Galinsky
Today's Children and Teens in a Challenging World: How parents, relatives, friends, and educators can support this next generation so they can grow and thrive. Sunday, November 17 4:00pm $10 Ellen Galinsky, researcher and author of The Breakthrough Years and Mind in the Making, will discuss the latest in child development and brain research while offering concrete solutions to address the challenges of growing up today for young children and teens. Ellen will be joined by filmmakers Lisa Rinehart and Jennifer Hamblett of Mighty Egg Productions who created short films on the work of leading neuroscientists and scholars featured in Ellen's books. This is a fundraiser for the PCC "Raise the Roof" Fund for critical repairs to the building. |
